TORONTO – September 26, 2013: Nulogy, maker of Production Management software that is specifically designed to serve the end-to-end needs of Contract Packagers and Manufacturers, is proud to announce that it has been presented with the Canadian Aboriginal and Minority Supplier Council (CAMSC) 2013 CATA Innovation Through Technology Award, during the Annual Business Achievement Awards Gala, held at the Arcadian Court, in Toronto, Canada.
This prestigious award is presented to an Aboriginal or Minority-owned business for demonstrating innovation in a technology-based product or service. "CAMSC is proud to recognize Nulogy as the 2013 Innovation through Technology award winner. Nulogy’s significant investments in R&D have delivered innovative supply chain software solutions to a number of CAMSC corporate members and globally recognized brands. They are truly enhancing Canada’s international reputation for technology excellence, and clearly demonstrate that diversity delivers innovation," stated Cassandra Dorrington, President of CAMSC.
Nulogy invests substantial amount of revenue and resources into research and development. Over the past 12 months, their R&D budget has grown by over 50%. Product and engineering teams have been working on the constant improvement of flagship Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution PackManager, and developing new products that enable contract packagers and manufacturers to improve the flow of their operations, save hundreds of thousands of hours in data entry, quoting, product recalls, inventory cycles, not to mention reduce waste. QCloud, which can be used as a module of PackManager or as a standalone solution, now allows customers to improve their quality control processes.
“We’ve enabled our customers to be more competitive by allowing them to integrate deeply with large CPG brands to share real-time data, information, and automation,” explained Lally Rementilla, Nulogy’s VP of Finance and Administration. “We’ve also improved the usability of our products by making them available in more languages, thus allowing our international customers to roll them out globally to their network. However this is the first time in our 10 year history that we have been recognized for not just what we do, but also for who we are.”
Nulogy’s cloud based solution is a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution which means that instead of making a hefty one-time investment that they will wait years to see any ROI on, customers pay a monthly subscription fee, and it ensures them that they will see bi-weekly updates in the software, and always be using the latest version. “The fact that our customers stand by our product, in spite of it being so structurally easy to switch from, is a testament to the quality and the value we bring to the table,” added Rementilla. Nulogy has seen 70% growth over the past 12 months, and their technology is now being used on 4 continents.
